Test Your Line Speed

The effective line speed or baud rate of your Internet connection is determined by the slowest portion of the Internet between your computer the Web site servers.  This bottleneck is often your home modem line or shared office connection, but it can also be a firewall, a router, or an ISP's over-burdened local or long-haul data pipes.

OptiView is now testing the baud rate from our East Coast and West Coast data centers.  The test takes about 30 seconds, and the results will be shown in the box below.

Your OptiView Baud Rate will be used by the OptiView RealTime Optimization Service to serve graphics and content optimized for your particular download speed.  Click here to repeat the test.
