What kind of bandwidth savings should I expect from using NetCelerate?
You should expect a reduction of 50% to 75% in bandwidth usage for Web content.

It sounds like an optimizing NetCelerate server can be placed anywhere on a network. Can you tell me more about this?
NetCelerate proxy servers can be used anywhere on the network, but it is most useful for office locations when it is placed on either side of the slowest link between your users and the Internet. When placed on the user side of the slowest link it works as a very fast caching appliance intercepting requests and serving them quickly over your LAN. When placed on the Internet side of the slowest link, NetCelerate compresses all Web objects before they go over that slow link.

Once I buy a NetCelerate server, how is it delivered to me?
A member of our technical staff will deliver the server to you, install and configure the system and show you how to configure browsers or routers to work with NetCelerate.

Do I need to configure my Web browser to work with NetCelerate?
If NetCelerate is configured in transparent mode, no Web browser proxy settings need to be configured. If NetCelerate is not configured in transparent mode, end-users will need to configure their proxy settings within their browser.

What browsers does NetCelerate work with?
NetCelerate works with Netscape Navigator version 2 and higher; Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3 and higher; and all versions of AOL. In addition, NetCelerate may work with other browser types, but this has not been tested.

Is there a NetCelerate consumer product I can use to speed my personal Internet connection?

What if my email address changes?
You can change your email address at any time using the account management page.

If I have an annual NetCelerate subscription, do I need to resubscribe at the end of the year?
If you subscribe with a credit card, your subscription renews annually until you end your subscription using the account management page. Your card is charged each year for resubscribing.

How do I cancel my NetCelerate account, and how do I return the server to?

Can I end my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can end your subscription at any time using the account management page. However, please be aware that subscriptions cannot be prorated. In addition, when you cancel your subscription, you are responsible for retuning the NetCelerate server to us in perfect working order.
